Interestingly, Carlos initially studied acting. However, an industry sparse with auditions led him to learn digital marketing skills to fund personal projects. The data-driven nature of paid media campaigns eventually captivated them, prompting a career switch to digital marketing.

For those starting their journey in digital marketing, Carlos stresses the importance of embracing change. The industry is continuously evolving; maintaining a healthy level of scepticism helps in adapting to these changes wisely.

His advice to aspiring digital marketers “Come over to the dark side!” Carlos jokes. The serious advice is to develop expertise in AI to gain an edge in the industry. In a field that thrives on innovation, AI expertise can make a significant difference.

A standout achievement for Carlos was working on the release of “Welcome to The Darkness.” This project clinched No. 1 placements across numerous categories on platforms like Amazon, iTunes, and Sky. These successes highlight our team’s dedication to world-class performance and expertise.

Learning at DMS

During his journey at DMS as far, he developed his skills quite a bit, running campaigns across various industries, from entertainment and mental health to property and finance. He’s learned new ways of managing campaigns, particularly Meta with the BPM method which he has adapted from Meta onto other platforms as well.
